Welcome home! We are so excited to have you on campus. To ensure a satisfactory experience and help us address any issues, make sure to follow the processes below whenever students:

  • Check into a new room: Report any pre-existing room damage. This helps Residence Life determine who or what caused certain issues in the room for charging purposes.
  • Get a roommate: By completing a roommate agreement, roommates are able to set expectations for how they would like to live with each other.
  • Upon check out: Follow the check out process to ensure housing charges are adjusted, if needed, and room status is assessed.
  • When room maintenance is needed: This helps Facilities Maintenance address the issue and prevent future problems.
  • Experience or witness an incident: Reporting an incident allows Public Safety and the Office of Student Conduct to safeguard the welfare of the University community.
  • Need to understand their rights and responsibilities when living on campus
  • Prepare for emergency procedures such as inclement weather, medical emergencies, etc.
