Prism is a Living Learning Community designed to better support the safety, security, and community needs of all students. This option allows residents to choose to live in a community that is supportive of all students. This floor will offer an environment that acknowledges the importance of identity and expression and is designed for LGBTQ+ and ally students.   

The Prism Living Learning Community is a uniquely supportive environment for students and allies to live and grow together. Students who live in this community are expected to contribute positively to the community by offering support and encouragement for the living environment, respecting floor members’ different motivations for choosing this living option, embracing and learning from experiences different from one’s own, and actively participating in community events, and abide by all regulations as outlined in the ATU Student Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct. Students living in this community are required to sign a living agreement that outlines expectations.

WHAT TO EXPECT Intentionally cultivated safe, validating environment for gender-diverse individuals and their allies. Trained professional and academic LGBTQ+ allyship. Management guidelines developed by leaders in SPECTRUM to ensure that it is accommodating and safe for community members and their allies.

DID YOU KNOW? Prism LLC was a collaborative effort between ATU Residence Life & the Registered Student Organization, SPECTRUM. One of the many reasons Prism LLC was placed in Tucker Hall is because it has semi-private restrooms which allow individuals to shower and use the restroom in a singular locked bathroom.
