A degree in Agriculture Business-Pre-Veterinary Medicine option at Arkansas Tech University prepares you to apply to the Vet School of your choice to continue your educational goal. The program will also provide the necessary prerequisites for continuing your education in graduate school, meeting the prerequisites for most Veterinary Medicine programs. Pre-Veterinary students are able to draw on the real-world experiences of our faculty members.
In addition to utilizing our talented faculty and staff, you will make full use of the many classrooms and teaching laboratories found in Dean Hall, the Greenhouse Classroom and our extensive Outdoor Learning Laboratory located on three sides of the ATU campus. Hands-on experience working with our fully operational beef and swine herds helps to prepare you to continue your education at the graduate level in animal science, veterinary medicine, and many other medical fields.
