FIRST TO SHINE LLC

Will you be the first in your family to graduate from college? If so, you’re a first-generation student and eligible to participate in the First to Shine LLC! We know that first-generation students have unique challenges and the First to Shine community will help you connect with the Arkansas Tech community, understand academic and university expectation, build study skills, and create lifelong friendships.

First to Shine LLC participants will take a weekend trip to see our Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys take on the Oklahoma Baptist Bison in a Great American Conference Football match up. This overnight trip be on Friday, October 9 through Sunday October, 11, 2020. In addition to the football game, students will take part in historical and cultural experiences in the Oklahoma City area.
