There is no charge at the time of service unless you are receiving an immunization,
lab procedure, or incur a late fee for missed appointments or those not cancelled
within 24 hours. Students pay a health services fee each semester and may utilize
the HWC as much as needed. Please see
this document for a detailed list of HWC fees. Students who are charged a fee for service will
not pay at the time of service but the charge will be listed on the student account
as an infirmary charge with no details of the procedure or reason for visit. Students
requesting a detailed list of their charges may do so at the HWC.
You may obtain your immunization record by stopping by the Health & Wellness Center
during our clinic hours or you may fax us a signed
Medical Release Form requesting this information 479-967-6610 fax.
If you don't see a symptom that best describes your need for a visit, please contact
our office at (479) 968-0329 to schedule your appointment.
Call the clinic and see if we have any walk-in appointments left for the day. You
may also come to the Health & Wellness Center or call us and speak to a triage nurse.
The triage nurse will discuss your symptoms and provide recommendations. If your
symptoms are emergent, we will refer you to Saint Mary's Medical Center Emergency
Department or a local clinic for evaluation.
We prefer that patients schedule appointments in advance, however, we have some appointments
set aside daily for walk-ins. Walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first- serve
basis. Students are encouraged to call early in the day to increase the likelihood
of a same-day appointment.
ATU employees are eligible for health services at the Health and Wellness Center for
a $25 charge per visit plus the cost of any labs needed. Our nurses can treat acute
illnesses and injuries, but will not replace your Primary Care Physician. If you
have ongoing medical conditions, please contact your PCP for treatment. If you'd
like to be seen for a minor illness or injury (similar to an urgent care), please
call the HWC at 479-968-0329 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
At this time, counseling services are not being offered to employees.
