2024 Fall Sorority Recruitment: Opens June 1, 2024
There are two opportunities for women to join one of our four National Panhellenic Council sororities at Arkansas Tech University. The first is Formal Fall Recruitment, which takes place in September. There is also Continuous Open Bidding (COB), which is an informal recruitment process that begins on the last day of Formal Fall Recruitment and concludes Reading Day in the Spring. Not every chapter participates in Continuous Open Bidding.
During Formal Fall Recruitment, women will have the opportunity to visit with members of each sorority to determine which chapter offers the best fit. Women will begin by visiting all four Panhellenic sororities and, through a mutual selection process, will narrow down their selections to two sororities before being matched with a sorority on the final day of recruitment. It is an exciting, emotional, and life-changing experience!

2024 Fall Fraternity Recruitment: Opens June 1, 2024
During Formal Fall Recruitment, those who are interested will have the opportunity to visit with members of each fraternity to determine which chapter offers the best fit. Interests will begin by visiting all six active Interfraternity chapters and will create their own schedule by selecting chapter events to attend. At the end of the week, individuals will be invited to "invite only" events hosted by chapters. On the final day of recruitment, chapters will extend a bid to those individuals who they would like to join their chapters and a decision will be made by those individuals. It is an exciting and life-changing experience! If you have any questions regarding the recruitment process please contact the Interfraternity Council at fsl@atu.edu.
