In collaboration with ATU Norman Career Services, students enrolled in a public relations project course are organizing the Career Closet initiative this spring. We are so excited to announce our NEW space for students to find professional attire: The ATU Career Closet, located in the Energy Center - Room 139!
The ATU Career Closet provides Arkansas Tech University students with free professional attire to help them make a great first impression at job interviews, career fairs, and networking events. Our mission is to ensure that every student has access to the clothing they need to feel confident and prepared for professional opportunities.
Students can browse a selection of gently used business attire, including suits, blouses, dress shirts, slacks, skirts, ties, and accessories—all available for rent! Whether you’re preparing for your first job interview or need an outfit for a professional event, the Career Closet is here to help. All items are clean, well-maintained, and appropriate for a professional setting.

We kindly ask that all donations fit within business professional or business casual attire—items like shorts, shoes, tank tops, and formal wear cannot be accepted.
Ideal donations include dress pants, slacks, dress shirts, suits, polos, belts, ties, sweaters, blouses, skirts, and dresses—essentially, anything suitable for an interview or professional setting. Please ensure all items are clean, have all buttons and working zippers, and are free of holes, snags, pet hair, stains, or odors. Any items that do not meet these guidelines may be declined or redirected to a local thrift store.
