As a part of our CAEP (national accreditation) the College of Education and Health must have an approved test of pedagogy. The test that ATU has selected is the Praxis: Principles of Teaching and Learning.
You may take any one that you wish and you may select from the following:
The minimum passing score at ATU for the PLT is 146.
Do Not submit this application until you have all coursework completed, have completed the IDEA professional development modules, have a satisfactory exit portfolio, completed electronic surveys, and all required testing.
Before beginning this application, you must be prepared to pay the $75.00 license fee. You will not be able to submit your license application without entering your payment information. Have your credit/debit card ready.

Note: If you are a candidate that has graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree awarded, and needs a provisional license for special circumstances (i.e.still trying to pass the PLT while working as a teacher). This process will be different for you. Please contact idavidson2@atu.edu for further instructions.
