The Campus Based Supervisor (CBS) will evaluate an intern four times during a given
semester using the Teacher Excellence Support System (TESS) and Arkansas Teaching
Standards (InTASC) aligned observation form.
Campus Based Supervisors:
- Share the results of the observations with the intern and make recommendations for
improvement
- Electronically submit the four observations to the Director of Teacher Education Student
Services
- Are responsible for all grading including weekly observation reflections, intern locator submissions, as well as submission of a final grade based on evidence collected from the semester in collaboration
with the recommended grade from the student's mentor teacher.
