KXRJ is licensed to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University. The KXRJ license was granted by the Federal Communications Commission on 05/15/2020 for a term expiring on 06/01/2028.
KXRJ's mission is to provide news, educational programming, non-main stream music, and information to the University and surrounding communities.
KXRJ is a non-commercial, non-profit, educational broadcast facility. The station is also operated as an instructional facility for the ATU Department of Journalism
