"The MA TESOL program from Arkansas Tech University was the perfect fit for me. While living abroad and working full-time, I was able to complete the program in one year. The platform was easy to use and provided me a seamless connection with both classmates and professors. At Arkansas Tech University, I was able to develop a strong foundation of teaching methods and theories." | "I came into this job very well prepared for what I do here in Morocco. My courses at Arkansas Tech gave me the tools I needed to teach the full range of courses I have been assigned here. I constantly find myself using the theory and practical applications I learned in my classes in order to understand my students better and to teach them more effectively. Literally every single course that I took in the TESOL program at Tech had some element that I have put to use in teaching my own courses. Thank you again for an excellent program that prepared me exceptionally well to be here. I'm living my dream!" | "My TESOL degree has given me new compassion for ELLs and new passion for teaching them as well. I have learned so much in a short time, and I hope to incorporate many of the strategies and principles I have learned into my 10th grade English classes this coming school year. I believe this degree will open opportunities for me to serve other teachers in the district by sharing my insights about teaching ELLs, and I believe I am equipped to take on newcomer classes if the opportunity presents itself." |
