Professor Frances Roberson, is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Film with a passion for global exploration and cultural learning. With travels to over 20 countries in four continents, she treasures the opportunities she's had to learn different cultures and is excited to share that spirit of discovery with others. This upcoming trip to Greece marks the fourth educational tour she has led, combining her love of travel with her commitment to transformative learning experiences. When she’s not teaching or traveling, Prof. Roberson enjoys life on a small hobby farm, where she lives with her husband, two children, and their wonderful Westies. She believes that the world is the best classroom, and she can’t wait to share the adventure with another cohort of amazing students.

Dr. Mary Trotter serves as Assistant Professor of Music at ATU and teaches piano and music theory. You might have seen her play if you’ve attended a Tech choir concert or a music major’s senior recital. She spent several of her formative years living overseas and is grateful for the way it expanded her global perspective and inspired even more curiosity in her about the world around her. As a student, she studied in China, England, Austria, and Germany, and as a faculty member, she has traveled with her students to Canada and Spain. When not travelling to faraway places, you’ll probably find her cooking/dancing in her kitchen, reading poetry or children’s books (which, she would argue are ALSO poetry), or traipsing down a mountain trail. Dr. Trotter is delighted to have the opportunity to travel to Greece! She is looking forward to seeing ancient ruins, eating delicious Mediterranean food, seeing the birthplace of the Olympic games, and breathing the fresh island air.
