ELIGIBILITY: Degree seeking undergraduate students at a partner university

MAJORS: Most majors (Recommended for Music Majors)

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: English and German

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: No German proficiency required, however, a minimum of 1 year of German instruction is highly recommended. If planning to attend classes taught in German, B1 proficiency is required.

WHY JLU?

Justus-Liebig University is the oldest university in it's region of Hesse, founded in 1607. JLU offers a broad range of courses taught in English and German. It has approximately 28,000 students between 11 departments and 90 courses of study. The city of Giessen has the highest student density in Germany, so it is packed with activities geared towards students. The city is located in a great central location that is not far from Frankfurt!
