Spirit Squads - Tech Cheer & Dance Team

Our mission is to emphasize and teach the importance of safety, discipline, school spirit, unity, and pride. Spirit Squads must represent the school to the highest degree and set an example of good behavior and sportsmanship at all times (in uniform or not). Within the spirit organization the two programs must support the athletics of the university and uphold an image of professionalism and spirit for the university and community. Both squads participate in pep rallies throughout the year and various campus and community related events.

ATU CHEER

The ATU Cheer Team is composed of 18 scholarship athletes and a few walk-on athletes. ATU Cheer participates in all home games for football, basketball, and volleyball and select away games for football and basketball.

The ATU Dance Team is composed of 14 scholarship athletes. ATU Dance participates and performs at all home football and basketball games, and select away games.
