The Meaning

Arkansas Tech University commissioned the Tucker Oak illustration, which was created by local artist Daniel Freeman. It symbolizes that ATU is always changing while remaining firmly rooted in its history. As a result, it is an appropriate icon for the inauguration of ATU's 13th president.

Daniel Freeman is a native of Dover, Arkansas, and attended Memphis College of Art.
