PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Christopher Housenick specializes in World Politics and Comparative Politics. He joined the political science faculty at ATU in 2009. He received his Ph.D. and Master’s Degree from Penn State University in 2005. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Slippery Rock University in 1999. For our department, he teaches our world politics courses, such as International Relations, Comparative Government, Introduction to Strategic Studies, American Foreign Policy, U.S. Military Policy, and United Nations. Additionally, Dr. Housenick teaches our Research Methods courses. Finally, he teaches sections of American Government (POLS 2003) for the general education program each semester. Dr. Housenick also advises the Model United Nations and Model Arab League programs, taking groups of student to state and regional conferences each year to represent ATU in competitions with other universities.
