Dr. Dana J. Tribble

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Dana Tribble brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her academia and community engagement roles. She is an assistant professor in the master's program in higher education and student affairs (HESA). In addition, Dr. Tribble oversees TECH 1001 & TECH 1013, crucial first-year undergraduate success courses. With a background in directing career services at Arkansas Tech University, her insights into student development and career readiness are invaluable.

Outside the classroom, Dr. Tribble is a dynamic leader. She serves as Sponsorship Co-Chair for the 2024 NASPA IV-West Conference Committee, where she enhances professional development opportunities for her peers. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role as President of the Arkansas Council for Women in Higher Education (ACWHE), convening the Executive Board, chairing meetings, and driving strategic initiatives to support women's advancement in academia in Arkansas.

Dr. Tribble's commitment to community service is evident in her founding role as President of the Dardanelle Primary School Family Teacher Organization (FTO). Her innovative fundraising and support initiatives have not only enhanced the educational experience but also showcased her creativity and resourcefulness. Her efforts demonstrate her commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school community.

In addition to her academic and community leadership, Dr. Tribble serves as the Arkansas Membership Coordinator for NASPA Region IV-West, actively promoting engagement and membership growth within the state. Her role goes beyond mere coordination-she is a catalyst for fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration among higher education professionals. Through her efforts in hosting virtual meet-and-greets and regional meetings, she ensures that everyone feels included and valued in the community.

Dr. Tribble's multifaceted contributions to academia, community, and professional organizations underscore her unwavering commitment to student success and community empowerment. With her dynamic leadership and boundless enthusiasm, she continues to make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of education and fostering inclusive communities.
