CETL will again be sponsoring the university-wide teaching and learning symposium, "Tech Talks," on Thursday, May 7, 2020. This symposium features presentations from faculty about teaching and learning strategies.

8:30-9:30 am - Plenary Session: Faculty Advising, Dr. Rene Couture. Advising is more than just registering students for classes. Dr. Couture will present information about the importance of quality advising and give some best practices for faculty advising. At the end of the session, departments will meet to develop a Department Advising Philosophy. (Various rooms in Rothwell)

This is an opportunity for faculty to share ideas for the classroom.The format of the presentations will be 4 sessions, 20 minutes in length. Each presenter will present twice. Please consider submitting an abstract for a presentation. Deadline for submission is April 1. Abstracts can be submitted here.
