New Student CheckList
You're admitted...now what?
1. GET ACCESS - ACTIVATE YOUR ONETECH ACCOUNT
OneTech is where students access key ATU resources for enrollment, financial aid, class and more. Your acceptance email will have your OneTech username and T# included. You'll need those to activate your account.
2. Start your Financial Aid Process
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). ATU Ozark's school code is 001089. The FAFSA is the most important thing you can do to get money for college. Schedule an appointment if you need assistance submitting the FAFSA.

3. Apply for state Grants & Scholarships
Apply for grants and scholarships including: AR Futures, Academic Challenge or Workforce Challenge through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE). Many students at ATU Ozark do not have to pay for tuition or fees out of pocket thanks to AR futures (eligible programs only). ADHE Fall 2023 deadline is June 30,2023. Spring 2024 deadline is January 10, 2024.

5. Start checking your TEch Email
Your ATU Email is where all formal communication from the university will be sent. Keep up with it regularly to stay up to date with all things ATU. Pro tip: add ion your phone if you are able.

6. Send your Final Documents
To finalize your admission we need your final documents. This may include:
- Official final high school transcripts or GED Transcript
- Test scores (ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer)
- Concurrent credit transcripts or other college transcript
Your high school counselor or the university you received previous credit with can assist you with getting your transcripts.

7. Request Accommodations If You Need Them
Students must self-disclose their disability status and formally seek adjustments through the Student Success & Disability Services Coordinator. Requests for accommodations should be initiated in a timely manner to allow for the coordinator of services with faculty and staff. Accommodations are not retro-active, therefore students are encouraged to request accommodations and meet with the Student Success & Disability Services Coordinator prior to the start of classes or early in the semester if they suspect an accommodation to be necessary.

8. Check Out Campus Resources
Your success is our priority at TECH and there are many resources to support you. Not sure where to start check in with an advisor or our Student Success Center.
9. Start Classes
Now it's time to start working towards your degree. Check out the Academic Calendar to see drop dates (Don't worry, every one has to make schedule changes at some point), registration dates, exam schedules, and holidays.
