What YOU NEED TO KNOW

ATU Focus Days are immersive preview experiences on the Arkansas Tech campus. Each academic college hosts a designated day, allowing for students interested in majors from that college to explore their chosen field of study more in depth. Attendees are encouraged to attend the Focus Day that more closely relates to their academic areas of interest, but you're welcome to attend any day that fits your schedule!

What's In It For Students?

These events will give you the chance to immerse yourself on the ATU campus and experience what it’s like to be a student first-hand. You’ll get to:

  • attend classes
  • eat on campus
  • get involved with our campus life
  • attend an athletic event*
  • schedule your academic advising appointment

*Guests attending Focus Days will receive free tickets to a Wonder Boys and Golden Suns basketball game, with the exception of February 6th since there are no Home games*

11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Lunch (on us!)

1:45 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. Academic Experience #3
2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Additional Experiences
(Campus tours, residence hall tours, financial aid support, etc.)
4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.*

5:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.**

Parents/Guardians, we’re not leaving you out! You’ll get to attend parent-focused sessions discussing:

  • financing college
  • campus safety
  • current parent conversations
  • the city of Russellville

Which day is best for me? 

There are multiple Focus Days, all offering a standard schedule of events, but each day will have a primary focus on programs within a specific college. We recommend attending the day that best fits your interest, however, you are welcome to attend ANY Focus Day, regardless of major! Each day will provide a similar experience.
